The key factors were altitude, range, the x and y components of velocity, the amount of fuel left, and the forces. The force of thrust and the force of gravity were present, but the game focused on thrust. The game asked how many flat zones one could touch before fuel runs out.
My question is how do you play the game? I can get the thing to land with fuel to spare, but it won't let me try to land again without starting the whole game over. As for the key factors, I agree that the ships velocity and fuel are the key factors in determining how hard the ship will land. There is an option to use a thrust, but each time I tried to use it I crashed.
Key Factors: Velocity, Fuel, Force of thrust and gravity Questions: The point of the mini game was to land in as many flat zones as possible before the fuel runs out - Rachel Rha
The question asked by the game is how many flat zones can you touch before the fuel runs out? The key factors were fuel, altitude, velocity, FT (force of the thrust), and Fg (Force of gravity). -Emily F.
The key factors are the force of thrust, (conservation of) fuel, velocity, gravity. All of these factors have proven to be in relation with each other, as the game discusses these factors not just individually but within the concept of the game as a whole. The question that the game is trying to ask is how many times the lander can land on flat zones (without crashing) before the fuel runs out.
When playing the game, I found that the key factors were fuel, height, thrust, gravity, and also the resulting velocity. One thing that I tried to focus on was keeping the vertical forces of thrust and gravity decently equal to each other. The closer the ship was to equilibrium (giving it a lower velocity) as it reached the ground, the softer of a landing it had.
The key factors, or components, of the game are altitude (m), range (m), y-component of velocity (m/s), x-component of velocity (m/s), force of thrust (N), and amount of fuel (kg). The question, or purpose, of the game is to land the lunar module on a flat surface before you run out of fuel. I also am a little confused on what to do after you land the lander once because you can move it again but it won't keep track of your tries, or you can reset but then you lose your previous game stats.
A key question I have is "what's the point of this game"!? And also some actual key questions... "If this were in real life, how much thrust would you really need to land that hunk of metal if it had a mass?" "How do we measure thrust?" "Does thrust have anything important to it?"
The key factors are fuel, velocity, the force of gravity and thrust, and the altitude. The point of the game is to land the lunar safely before running out of fuel. I was also confused like Jenny was about how it works after an attempt and if one could keep their previous game's information.
The key factors in the game is the force of gravity and thrust. The fuel also needs to be taken into consideration along with altitude. The x and y velocities also are key. I also have the same question as Jenny and Aida
The key factors in this game were gravity, x and y position, x and y velocity, the force of thrust, and the conservation of fuel. The questions brought up by this game are what is the best way to reduce landing speed, what is the best way to change your x direction, and how do you get the highest possible score?
The key factors are x and y velocity, position, time, amount of thrust applied, and gravity. The game asks what position is it most appropriate to apply thrust and how much is needed for a safe landing. Kelly Glenn
factors- gravity, thrust, x and y position and velocity, time, fuel the purpose of the game is to safely land on a flat surface as many times as possible without running out of fuel somehow I screwed something up and not am at an altitude of 6800m............
The key factors in the game are the x and y position, the x and y velocity, gravity, the force of thrust and how much was used, and the use of fuel. The questions most people get from this game is whats the best way to slow down landing speed, how do you put the fuel to the best use, and how of course to get the highest score. My questions are how to play the game and actually do well.

ReplyDeleteWait, I figured out how to move it after you land.
