When I try to log in, it says the e-mail isn't registered. Is anyone else having this problem? If not, could someone help me figure out what i am doing wrong?
Mr.Crane I'm about to throw my computer out the window PLEASE HELP WITH WILEY PLUS, the timed assignment told me to go to my account and see what it said under the password thing and I saw it but remembered none of the options matched what it did say so I go back only to be locked out! Not only did the math part completely blow, since alpha looks like "cx" in the problems making it super confusing but now this told me to basically go suicide and i listened, any "tips"?
I encountered a similar problem to Alen's. I was attempting to do assignment zero, but the first question told me to leave the assignment and check for what it said while changing my password. The question said I would be able to return to the assignment, but instead I was "locked out".
Ok. Open another window and make the change or skip that question. So some of you need to try the first option others the second and some the third. This is definitely getting you ready for college!!!
Mr. Crane, Wiley is giving me a tough time. I finished the first assignment, but when i was half through the second one a question said to go to the Read, Study, Practice section to find the answer to the question. so I did and when I came back to the assignment section it said I cannot do the timed assinment anymore bcause I ran out of time or logged out in secession. Can you please help me? -Neil Patel
I think you might be looking for the class policy. Look at the calendar, click on September 18, then click on "more details". That should open a new link where you can print the attachment.
I saw all these problems on the blog, and I still tried my best to be able to find the information for the questions without losing my session. Different browsers, different devices, and I eventually received a similar message like everyone else and was kicked out. Maybe the timed session could be taken off so we can easily go back and forth? Or possibly have us complete it in partners, where one partner uses their separate account to look up the answers, and the other partner fills in their answers on the session. Then vice versa. Just some ideas we could possibly use to fix this..
I was attempting to complete my assignment 0, and it told me to leave the page. I faced similar issues as above because it kicked me off once I left the page to find the answer. I tried to log back on, but everytime I attempted to access out class now it says "session error: session in progress". I couldn't finish the first assignment bebcause it kicked me out and now its not allowing me back on to finish the second part of the assignment. Is there any way to fix this so I can complete all the assignments?
I had the same problem as most other people posting and was locked out of the Intro to Wiley part of assignment zero after trying to check the homepage to get the answer to a question. It told me i could go to the homepage and then reacess the assignment but when i tried to go back it said the assignment was no longer accessible because i left the page prior to completion.
I had the same problem as everyone else. For certain questions, it requested for me to go to pages that would require me to end my timed session - and even if I followed the said directions, I still got an error box that told me that if I left, my session would be over. I tried to do different browsers and ended up getting logged out of both.
Hey cronies, just got home! I tried to complete the WileyPLUS assignment, and even though the directions told me to exit out of my exciting questionnaire, I did not do so, because I knew my session would probably be terminated. However, after going through about 8 questions and getting 2 of them wrong after not having proper information to answer those questions, I gave in to the WileyPLUS directions, and I'll be darned, it sure did terminate my quiz. I am obviously not able to complete the assignment, but I plan to explore the website, just as the assignment was supposed to help us do. I also plan to be asleep before 1. Wish me luck, and I'll see you all tomorrow at 10:03am.
I tried to do it in my tablet, but I accidently pressed another thing and the assignment was gone. It said that I completed it and can no longer access it.
Also, I didn't quite understand number 7 on the Self-Test Assignment. I've read and took notes on the powerpoint that was given in the assignment section, however, I did not see anything relating to this question. Could someone explain the reasoning behind the answer?
The only new assignments due today are the PP 1D Kinematic (which is just a link to the Power Point) and the Self-Assessment Test 02.1, which is mostly there to help you understand the first few slides of the power points. The rest are due tomorrow and Friday.
You don't technically have to "complete" that assignment since it only allows you to view it and not answer the questions since it is past the due date.
Mahfuz-ul Hasan #2 on the self assessment gives you the wrong answer. Im pretty sure that Shaun and Jeff's displacements are the same while Marks is different.
I don't remember what the question said, but I remember that Shaun, Mark, and Jeff have the same displacement. Each person moved 3.0 km from their starting positions. If someone moves 4.0 km west and then moves 1.0 km east, it overlaps the distance that the person covered while they were moving west. It's the same as someone moving 5.0 km north and 2.0 km south. I drew a picture to solve the problem.
Mr. Crane, there is an assignment called Uniform Motion in my list of assignments. The due date of the assignment is November 1st, 2013. Is the assignment's due date a typo or is it an assignment that wasn't completed by the previous owner of my account?

ReplyDeleteDon't do that. We will discuss the issue and how to resolve them in class.

ReplyDeleteMr.Crane, we are not allowed to leave the page for assignment zero and looks for the answers because it is a timed assessment.

ReplyDeleteMr. Crane. You said we need to get something signed for homework and I don't know where it is?

DeleteIt is in a link on the calender on the 18th. It is white text in a blue bubble. click on (more details), then on (AP Class Rules 2011 -2012.doc).
DeleteThanks so much, you rock

I got kicked out of assignment 0 because it was "currently being edited by my instructor" and now I can't get back in

ReplyDeleteYeah I didn't have any problems completing it. Just read and followed directions.
ReplyDeleteMy problem was when I clicked on the link it logged me out, but now I can only review the timed-test because it is past the due date.

DeleteMr. Crane, I sent you an email about the bookcover, but I am not sure if it worked. Did you get anything from me?
ReplyDeleteIt also just occurred to me that I wrote little friction when I meant it had a lot of friction.
DeleteMr. Crane, when I go to the assignments there is no submit button to tell me if I got the answer right or wrong.

ReplyDeleteYes there are some legacy assignments that may change or move based on our progress through the material.
