    Mr.Crane, what did I miss in class today?

    1. Mahfuz-ul, you didn't miss much, all we did was talk about grouping parallel vectors, that if you increase your scale you increase your accuracy, and we talked about Sine, Cosine and Tangent, how you use them to find the angles of any triangle then we just spent like 50 minutes solving our problems for Wiley Plus to see if we had any questions.

    2. I used these equations:

      Vf^2= vo^2+2ap
      Vf=at+vot
      P=1/2at^2+vot

      I searched for the vf, time, and p.

    1. Find vf, t, and delta p.
      Vf^2=vo^2+2ap
      Find vf using this equation.
      Don't use 50 for p. The sprinter wasn't accelerating during the whole race.
      Vf=at+vot
      Solve for t
      P=1/2at^2+vot
      Plug everything in.

    2. what did you use for the position if you cant use 50?

    3. 25.

      There is another way to solve this problem but it involves quadratics. I used the solution from the other method to determine the position. The sprinter doesn't accelerate during the whole race. 25 is half of 50, and using 25 as the position variable produced the same answer.

    4. I did that and Wiley told e my answer was wrong.

    1. Ugh yes these problems do take some time. Previous years we did all the problems in about a week! How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. Pulling an 8 hour session is not advantageous unless of course you find a rhythm and time is flying by. But if you are just staring at the paper you need to set up the problems with PUKES and come with specific questions.

  5. for the last question on # 87, Wiley did not factor in sig figs and it marked me wrong. It should only have had two or three sig figs, but when I used up all three chances and clicked show answer it had at least 8???

  6. Out of the 13 I have completed, only 6 are correct...Is anyone getting all of these correct? Should I be getting all of these correct?

  7. For 34, should acceleration be negative in the equations?

  8. Are we being graded on how many we got correct?

  9. I heard we are going to have a quiz tomorrow

  10. So I know a lot of people are confused about the time frame we have for these problems. Each problem takes me about 10 minutes so I have been trying to devote about an hour each day. I'm just wondering when I should have all of these in by, and yes, if we will be graded on our answers or our ability to tackle these problems. I have been PUKEing for each, and I haven't uploaded any of my answers, but I'm hoping my answers reflect my techniques for each problem?

  11. Does anyone else know what we do with the force table lab?

  12. Hey friends. Dumb question (even though no question is a dumb question): do we have to have the force table lab packet completed for tomorrow? Bad timing, but still.

  13. I thought Mr. Crane said that anything that ends with 'lab' on the calendar is an in school assignment? So, I think the force table lab is something we're doing in class?
